Rant: It occurred to me today just how brainwashed we are into always seeking the social solution, always asking ourselves and others, like a tiny ant in a hill or a little buzzy bee in a hive, “What if everybody did that?” Well, guess what, everybody is not going to do that and never never ever will and the funniest fact of all concerning this whole subject of solving problems is that one of the glaringly obvious certainties, that ought to be universally enshrined in the temple of truth, is that There are no social solutions. There are only snake oil salesmen calling themselves politicians and other such titles, who are constantly picking your pocket and riding you like a pack mule, beating you with a stick while you chase the carrots they pawn off as social solutions ushering in the long-awaited Shangri-La.
So today hold high in your mind the banner that reads “Social Solutions No More! Long Live the Individual! All Freedom and Solutions Are Personal! All Societies Are Prisons!”
